As you might expect, showing activity in North Texas (and across the globe) dipped in March and April of 2020. Normally, that’s the time of year we start seeing activity increase as people come off the winter hibernation months and start planning for summer moves.
According to ShowingTime, the Real Estate industry’s leading Appointment Scheduling and Analytics platform, buyer showings have increased DRAMATICALLY heading into June 2020. For the past 3 weeks in a row, showings have either matched or substantially exceeded showings for the same week in 2019.
As states open up, people are getting out, which translates into more home showings. Will we soon start seeing more homes listed for sale? Time will tell but the showing activity trend is certainly looking up!
